How does Delta T - SM 150T soil moisture sensor work?
Delta T is easy to install and comes with a built‐in temperature sensor to give super-accurate data used by researchers and growers all over the world. It is an ideal soil moisture sensor for both soilless and soil applications in greenhouse and open field.
The soil moisture output signal is a differential analog DC voltage that is converted to soil moisture by a data logger or meter using the supplied general soil calibration. The soil moisture content can also be calibrated for specific soils. Fully integrated with NetBeat™, the first irrigation system with a brain, the sealed plastic body is attached to two sensing rods directly inserted in the soil to enable highly accurate readings.

How to install Delta T - SM 150T?
It is easy to install on the surface or at depth. It's sharp pins minimize soil disturbance and preserve the original soil structure around the measurement rods. With a length of only 143 mm (rods 51 mm), it can also be installed in grow-bags and plant pots.
